CranberryOrange Punch with Apple Cider

Perfect for Christmas, this festive cranberry punch is made with apple cider, fresh cranberries, and orange slices. For garnish, gently tie orange rind strips around cinnamon sticks and place in individual cups.

Cranberry-Orange Punch With Apple Cider Ingredients

  • 3 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks

  • 24 whole cloves

  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice berries

  • cheesecloth

  • kitchen string

  • 2 quarts apple cider

  • 3 cups fresh cranberries

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 medium orange, sliced

How to Make Cranberry-Orange Punch With Apple Cider

  1. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice berries in the center of a small piece of cheesecloth. Bring the ends of the cheesecloth together and tie securely with kitchen string. Place spice bag in a large Dutch oven. Add apple cider, cranberries, water, and orange slices to the Dutch oven.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove and discard spice bag and orange slices. Serve warm.
