    • 2 oranges, sectioned

    • 2 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced

    • cup shelled pistachios, coarsely chopped

How to Make Mango, Orange, Grapefruit, Avocado, And Pistachio Salad

    1. Toss the romaine lettuce with the balsamic vinaigrette and blue cheese crumbles. Place into a large salad bowl. Arrange the mango, grapefruit, orange, and avocado over the salad in a lovely pattern. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios to serve.

Mango, Orange, Grapefruit, Avocado, And Pistachio Salad Reviews

    • This combination of ingredients came to their best fruition when eaten together. I took this to a dinner party and it easily fed 30 people who went back for extras. I received endless compliments. I stuck to the recipe except that I doubled the amount of romaine (which substantially increased the volume), added some carrot shreds, and made my own balsalmic dressing. To the vinegar I added cumin, fresh ginger, and seasoning salt, and whisked these all with olive oil. After tossing, I garnished the salad with edible flowers. The presentation was impressive and would have been as awe-inspiring minus the flowers, simply because of the beautiful array of fruit colors. I cannot wait to make this salad again when I have the crowd to serve it to or the special occasion on which to share this delicious salad.

    • Actually I want to give 4.5 stars. It doesnt get the final 1/2 star as I like a bit more bite of chilliness in a salad like this. So this is MY personal taste opinion. This is very good and is the second most popular salady item on the menu in our Caf

    • Ohh this was so good I had to skip the blue cheese and pistachios since I didnt have any but I can only imagine how much more awesome this would be with them. I made my own dressing with balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a little honey, plus sprinkled the whole salad with lemon juice, salt and pepper. I used fresh field greens and arugula instead of romaine for extra nutritional punch. this is a definite keeper

    • I took it to a football tailgaiting party and it was a hit. I used goat cheese and it was delicious.

    • This is a perfect salad for a hot day. The combination of fruits is delicious and well worth the effort.

    • Oh my goodness, this salad is amazing. I am not partial to blue cheese so I used feta and I used tangerines instead of oranges. I also didnt use the lettuce or dressing because I wanted a more decorative side salad. This salad is simply bursting with flavors. I sprinkled a little stevia over the grapefruits to take the edge off as well. I could see making this salad with fish or chicken or even for a brunch with eggs and salmon. Awesome

    • This is an awesome recipe I have yet to try it with Pistachios though. Im not really a fan of nuts in my salads :( I do use feta in place of the blue cheese, as I am the only one that likes blue in our house. This makes for a wonderful springtime or summer salad with all of the wonderful colors. I love this with a nice spring mix or with a romaine/spinach mixture. My favorite dressing to serve with this is Citrus Vinaigrette by Maple Grove Farms.

    • You cannot go wrong with avocado salad with such twist

    • Loved it. Im not a blue cheese fan, so I left that out, other than that I made it exactly.

    • YUM What a wonderful burst of flavours I prepared this more or less as written and loved it. This is one of my go to recipes now. Thanks

    • I really wanted to like this since I have always enjoyed Mudslides. This was soooo sweet that I could not drink it. And I have a sweet tooth that never quits. The added brown sugar and chocolate syrup in the recipe plus the decorative chocolate syrup in the glass just made it extremely sweet and undrinkable.

    Three Cheese Green Salad Reviews

    • VERY easy and very good I used white wine vinegar since I couldnt find white balsamic, and it was still great. I would love to try it with the balsamic next time. This recipe gives you LOTS of cheese and pecans- I will probably not use quite as much next time. Youll also have plenty of leftover dressing. I received several compliments on this pretty and yummy salad

    • This was a great salad Found the white balsalmic in the gourmet section of my grocery store. (used Mont Jack cheese instead of Swiss) Yum

    • Excellent Salad. I took it to a potluck where it was a huge it. Now, all my friends are asking me when Ill be serving my "Restaurant" salad again I dont like Swiss or Feta, so I substituted crumbled cheddar and shredded colby jack cheeses. I found the white balsamic vinegar near all the salad dressings in my grocery store. :)

    • We used a dark balsamic vinegar and it turned out fine. Also, recipe doesnt mention tomatoes but picture shows them.

    • The large amount of dressing this recipe makes is not an issue, you just dont add it all to the salad at once After I tossed the salad, I added just enough dressing to coat lightly and refridgerated the rest for the next day I would not decrease the spices at all, it was fine the way it was. Delicious salad

    • I really enjoyed this, my mom loved it However, I did make some changes which is why I gave it 4 stars. Like others, I agree the dressing proportions were off. I cut the pepper down alot and only made half the dressing, which was the perfect amount. Subbed Monteray Jack for swiss, because thats what I had. Also added some thinly sliced red onion and green apple. YUM Quick and refreshing. I will make this again. Thanks for sharing.

    • GREAT SALAD I do a meal once a quarter for our church. I made this salad and served it with Bacon Wrapped Chicken. The MEN were coming into the kitchen and telling me what a good salad it was. Whatever you do dont leave out the pecans. They make the salad.

    • This salad is so tasty, I make it all the time and its a hit with BBQs

    • Very tasty. Even my husband ate all of his. And he is a meat and potatoes man, not much into other veggies or salad. He even said it was "pretty good". I used green leaf lettuce, and only had dark balsamic vinegar. The cheese tended to stay at the bottom of the bowl due to gravity and didnt really "mix" with the lettuce pieces. Nice dressing, but was more than enough and I could have gotten by with less. Thanks for the great recipe. I will fix this again. It was good.

    • Great salad. Very tasty and refreshing. I didnt have feta so I used blue cheese and it was wonderful Thank you for sharing

    • WOW, this was loved by all in the family and will be made often in our house I am sure

    • This was REALLY GOOD I added some sliced mushrooms and tomatoes and they go amazing with it..

    • We liked this one I realize the title of this recipe indicates that this is a green salad, however I had some little grape tomatoes that I needed to use up, so I threw them in. I thought they added great color and complimented the other ingredients nicely. I also thought the amount of cheese was excessive, so I cut back to about two tablespoons of each. The dressing was ok, but I think there are better balsamic dressings out there. Id make this again, but use a different dressing.

    • Delish I used pine nuts instead of pecans. Very versatile salad. It would be great with chicken or the addition of apples or dried cranberries.

    • This salad was amazing I made it for Easter dinner for 15 people and everyone ate it and thoroughly enjoyed I switched out the cubed Swiss for cubed Monterey Jack and added a little bit of sugar to the dressing just to tone down the slight bitterness. The salad came out perfect, was super easy, and a super hit.

    • Delicious Have made for potlucks and come back with empty bowl

    • I made this last night to go with some steaks we cooked on the grill. I used sliced swiss cheese which I cut into small pieces. I also used red balsamic vinegar, since I did not have white. The response from my husband was "This is one of the best salads you have made. Thanks for the great recipe. I will be making this again

    • Very tasty, impressed quite a few guests

    • Very tasty This is a keeper. Maybe a little less on the cheese other than that it was excellent.

    • Wow Excellent way to spruce up a boring old salad I made this salad for a adult birthday party and I didnt have a lot of time to prepare. It was fast, easy, and very tasty. Everyone raved about the combination of cheeses. Thanks

    • This is a great recipe When I first read it I thought "whats the big deal?" but when we ate it it was terrific. I used good feta and fresh parmesan and substituted colby/jack for the swiss. My mom was eating it without the dressing and asked me what kind of dressing it was because it was great. I used regular good balsamic because I didnt have any white balsamic. Served it with Firecracker Salmon for Fathers Day and it went over great

    • Delicious

    • This was so good I loved it I could not find white balsamic vinegar at my grocery store, so used dark. While not as pretty, it was still very tasty. I think Id like to experiment with this a little and try using half fresh spinach and half lettuce. The dressing as is was a little too tart for my taste, so I added about 2 tsp of sugar. Perfect. I also had to use different cheese. We dont like swiss so I used monteray jack, our finances do not call for feta right now (which Im sure is excellent because I LOVE feta) so I crumbled up some cheddar, and I couldnt find shredded parmesan so I used an Italian cheese blend.

    • Great salad. My company just loved it and finished off the whole bowl. I used a bag of crumbled cheddar, colby, and monteray jack cheese. Delicious I will definitely make this again and again.

    • This has great potential but, imo, the proportions are way off - way too much dressing for a start, and one tbsp of pepper? One tbsp of Italian seasoning? Seriously? I cut way back, and it turned out great I loved the contrast of the sweet white balsamic with the salty tangy Feta. Next time Ill add some red onion. Thanks

    • Great easy party salad Very versatile and you can use so many different greens, cheeses and salad dressings. I like white citrus or cilantro avocado drizzled on it. I added cherry tomatoes and also used bourbon vanilla pecans once and they were a hit. Have served with pretzel crisps or sesame sticks.

    • The salad was good but the dressing was to tart or sour. I used balsamic vinegar as the recipe said. If I made it again I would try another vinegar or use less of it in the recipe.

    • I made this but must admit to having used my lemon olive oil and some lemon balsamic vinegar. I thought it was very good with all the ingredients called for, but it would even be better with some added tomatoes and onion. I have a little dressing left over, and thats just fine with me The thing I love about recipes like this is that you can add or subtract anything but its always the dressing that makes the salad. I gave this a 4 because I do think that my olive oil and lemon balsamic vinegar added a lot to the dressing. I really appreciate this recipe

    • I substitued munster cheese for the swiss cheese, otherwise made the same as the recipe. It seemed that the pepper (1T) was way too much for the dressing. That is all I could taste in the dressing, and I like pepper normally but it was too much for me. The dressing could also be cut down dramatically, there was a lot left over and too much peper to enjoy at another time.

    • Loved the salad, added craisins.Hated the dressing. I made my dressing with: 1/2 C. mayo, 1 pkt splenda & 1 Tbl white wine vinegar or cidar vinegar.

    • Just loved this salad. You could add and substitute and have a lot of fun with this salad recipe. I will be making this again for sure.

    • My dh liked this recipe but it was just ok to me.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said inside a statement Tokyo is "doing its utmost" to congregate details on North Korea's launch with every one other accompanied by corroborate the safety of ships with every one other accompanied by aircraft, although there were no indeed immediate reports of damages.

The North Korean threat is too expected to exist a answer agenda when U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visits South Korea following week following attending the condition burial inside Tokyo of slain former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

North Korea has dialed up its difficult activities to a record step inside 2022, difficult additional than 30 ballistic weapons, including its earliest intercontinental ballistic missiles since 2017. North Korea is exploiting a divide inside the United Nations Security Council that deepened over Russia's war on Ukraine to rate up arms development.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has punctuated his weapons tests accompanied by repeated threats that the North would proactively use its nuclear weapons when threatened, increasing safety concerns for its conventionally armed competitor South Korea.

The flying details announced by Seoul's military propose that North Korea could have tested a nuclear-capable short-range weapon modeled following Russia's Iskander missiles, which journey at relatively low altitudes with every one other accompanied by are designed to exist maneuverable inside flight, making them harder to exist intercepted by missile defenses.

Kim Dong-yub, a professor at Seoul's University of North Korean Studies, said it was notable that the missile flew 600 kilometers (370 miles) from its Taechon launch point — violently the distance to South Korea's southern port Busan, where the Reagan arrived Friday.

The Iskander-like missiles are small portion of a growing arsenal of short-range, solid-fuel systems North Korea has been developing since 2019. The North describes some of those weapons while "tactical," which experts speak convey a threat to upper limb them accompanied by small battlefield nukes with every one other accompanied by proactively use them throughout conflicts to blunt the stronger orthodox forces of South Korea with every one other accompanied by the United States, which stations concerning 28,500 troops inside the South.

Kim's speech came while North Korean legislators passed a rules and regulations that enshrined its status while a nuclear ability with every one other accompanied by authorized the preemptive use of nuclear weapons over a broad range of scenarios where the country or its leadership comes under threat, spelling not here an escalatory nuclear doctrine.

He said the North would exist met accompanied by an overwhelming response if it attempts to use nuclear weapons, according to a statement by his ministry.

Sunday's trial could in a short time exist followed accompanied by a additional provocative weapons demonstration while South Korean officials said they detected signs that North Korea was preparing to trial a missile system designed to exist launched from submarines. The office of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said Saturday that he was briefed on such developments earlier to his flying spine place of residence from a pay someone a call to Canada.

On Wednesday, 38 North, a North Korea-focused website, said its analysis of commercial satellite imagery shows multiple barges with every one other accompanied by other vessels gathered at the eastern port of Sinpo, where North Korea has a greatest shipyard building submarines. The report said the North was maybe preparing to launch a new submarine competent of firing ballistic missiles.

North Korea has been pushing firm to exist intelligent to blaze nuclear-armed missiles from submarines. Such weapons inside theory would bolster North Korea's deterrent by ensuring retaliation following absorbing a nuclear assault on land.

Ballistic missile submarines would too add a new maritime threat to the North's growing collection of solid-fuel weapons fired from land vehicles, which are actuality developed accompanied by an evident aim to overwhelm missile protection systems inside South Korea with every one other accompanied by Japan.

Still, experts speak the laboriously sanctioned nation would need greatly additional time, resources with every one other accompanied by greatest technological improvements to build at least some submarines that could journey silently inside seas with every one other accompanied by reliably execute strikes.
